Hi everyone,

I created this account several months ago and signed up through Facebook. When I enrolled in one of the online classes I had to create a new account (it was a gift from a friend), but it defaults to this one everytime I come to the page. When I log out here, it logs me out of Facebook. When I log into Facebook, it logs me out of my new account and back into this one. It is very frustrating. How can I either disconnect this account from Facebook (when I go to My Dashboard, under edit and Facebook, it won't let me uncheck the box), or just delete this account altogether?

I went in your account and unchecked the Facebook box.  Hopefully I haven't done something terrible...if for some reason cursed monkeys attack because of this action, I deeply apologize.

I seem to be having the same problem, since I logged into the first account (Austin Hall) but I'd rather be logged in as ahall3234 since with that username, I paid to be a member.

Hi Avery

I have the same problem as Amanda, unfortunately. I set up a new account to have more presence under my pen name (Sam Thorne) but the account which I use for classes is LittleBounce.

Whichever device I use to open litreactor, it always defaults to Sam Thorne, and sometimes takes up to five minutes to log me out of Sam Thorne so I can open up LittleBounce.

If it's possible to fix this without losing my Sam Thorne ID, I'd be grateful. If not, I'm content to lose the Sam Thorne account.

Hi Sam,

I went through and did the same thing as Avery did in the days of yore and unchecked the "Connect to Facebook" option. I'm guessing that your Facebook account is locked to the "Sam Thorne" account, and since the site by default tries to use Facebook to log you into LitReactor, it would have opened you under Sam Thorne each time. Hopefully, this will now allow it to stay logged in to the profile you choose.

Just as a reminder to everyone; we'd greatly prefer if you avoided starting multiple accounts. I realize that there are reasons for doing so, but as demonstrated by this thread, it generally causes more problems than many of the solutions I can provide with admin stuff. If you feel you need to change your username or create a separate account, it'd be great if you shot me a PM first. That way, we can figure out a way to accomodate your needs with as few problems as possible.
