So if anyone is interesting, Kzine is a kindle-only zine published out of the UK. Their website is here-

And it can be purchased for 3.50 at

Two reasons I bring it up.

1) I recently sold a story for Kzine that will be featured in their January issue, so I'm doing my best to promote it. If you happen to buy their current issue, please take a moment to leave a review on the site to help promote them.

2) The person who edits it responds very quickly to submissions, so if any of you write any kind of genre, feel free to send him something. Unless he's swamped, he's almost always likely to respond in a week, or at the very least will give you a time table on his decision.

Hey Bill,

First, congratulations.  And thanks for the info.

Second, have you read their first edition?  What did you think?

Third, what's your piece?

Cheers, Chris

I just got the first issue and have only read the first story. To be honest, I wasn't that into it, BUT, the first story was science fiction and it's not really a genre I'm super into. The thing about Kzine is that it is trying to print all genres in every issue, so it's not exactly a horror zine or a sci fi zine. Each story is gonna be something different. So if you write, horror, sci fi, mysteries, westerns, fantasy... feel free to send them stuff.

I wrote a horror story called "The Stench" that will be featured in issue two.

It's fairly cheap. Once I finish it I'm gonna post my thoughts here and write a review of it on amazon.
