Announcing the Winners of our 'Show Us Your Shelves' Contest

A few weeks ago we announced the very first LitReactor contest. See, we wondered just how much a writer/reader's bookshelves revealed about them. The rules were simple, then: take a picture of your bookshelf (bookshelves) and the three people with the most writer-evocative layout/designs would win subscriptions to the site. We dubbed this lovely endeavor "Show Us Your Shelves" and good gracious, dearhearts. Ya'll are about the business! Those of you who sent the monochromatic shelves went straight for my weak places; mercy. This contest is porn for book geeks! Really. Some of you--we're concerned. We have images in our mind of toppling furniture and kitties being crushed; some of you need to be about your dusting, mind, to keep the rank of the Collyer Bros at bay.
Also, you all are a mad loyal lot to one Stephen King.
And so, without further shout, your winners:
Congratulations, you three! Can we get a?! Where @otaku75 (who entered another equally fantastic shelf to the one above) is divined we kind of want to cut him off from the kitties at the kitten-in-ATM chase. Bookishly Bateman, right? We dig. Thank again to all who entered! If you comb our Facebook wall, you'll see a lot more of the great entries we had!
The three winners will be notified shortly with instructions on how to claim their free subscription to LitReactor.

Speech! Speech! Let's hear from the winners.
Just don't tell my wife that photo is out there. By the way, everything on those shelves is double stacked.
I am such a book geek. These photos make me happy!
All this is inspiring an ill-advised trip to the lumber store...
Congratulations! I'd of uploaded something...
but it would of been only 8 surviving books and no shelf.
Pity party. :(
