‘Hot Dudes Reading’ Attracts over 300K Followers

Even though the #NoKindles account only has 20 posts and one month under its belt, Instagram’s ‘Hot Dudes Reading’ has over 300,000 followers. The popularity of the snapshots may prove there’s nothing more alluring than a good book.

The anonymous posters, made up of a group of guys and girls alike, told Huffington Post that they “appreciate men with good looks and good books.”

“Reading is fundamentally hot,” they went on to tell HuffPost, “and who doesn’t like to fantasize a little bit about a stranger sitting across from us?”

Just from browsing the Instagram photos, one can see that some of the books snapped include The Fault in Our Stars by John Green, Guns, Germs, and Steel by Jared Diamond, Not that Kind of Girl by Lena Dunham, and The Death and Life of Great American Cities by Jane Jacobs.

If I caught a cute single reading on the subway, I’d be intrigued. What books would you be unable to resist?
